Our driveway needed some serious help. The newer pad in the middle of our driveway was flanked by an old crumbling concrete pad on one side, and a gravel/weed filled pad on the other. We hired Wallascape to do two new pads, and decided to add a walkway along the side of our house to get into the back yard. Mitch, the owner, provided us a competitive bid in a timely manner (we had two others bid the same work and one took a week to get back to me). Mitch set our expectations for doing a driveway in the winter time by telling us he could not set a hard and fast date to pour the concrete because the project was weather dependent. He also said that due to the extra cold temperatures that it would be a couple of weeks before we could park on the new pads. When we got the call to let us know the work would start, Mitch reminded us what to expect for the two day job. Each day he checked in and gave us updates like when the concrete truck would arrive. At the end of the project he said he would follow up when it was time to come and remove the forms from our driveway and the new pathway. He followed through as expected each time. We appreciated the great communication throughout the process, and LOVE how neat and clean our new driveway and pathway looks.

I wanted a concrete pad approximately 900 sq. ft. I want to first mention that Mitch Wallace is a gem. He is honest, fair and reasonable. That is enough to hire him. But there is so much more. I could mention that the Crew at Wallace Construction were friendly and professional. Mitch kept me informed all along the way. The pour itself is flawless. Drains perfect. After it cured i have driven several vehicles of various weight with no problems.

Wallace’s concrete work is superior to most; they were collaborative when reviewing the plans. They arrived on time and delivered according to the specs. The project was extensive putting retaining walls where rolling banks had defined the property. They replaced all the sidewalks and driveway and added a rear driveway. The work was excellent in every way as was their follow up. Do request pictures of this job when considering this company. Mitch and his team lead by Jose and Tony are good and honest men you will not regret doing business with, I’m certain of that!

Great experience with Wallace Construction from the owner Mitch to Jose the field supervisor to the rest of the crew! My project involved replacing a walkway on the side of my home and creating a wider walkway that curved around the raised garden beds and a little alcove for garbage cans. Mitch was very communicative from beginning to end, the crew was on time, worked hard, and cleaned up each day. The project was finished on time and the results were better than I envisioned. Wallace Construction removed my old concrete driveway and the sidewalk at the street and installed a new concrete sidewalk and driveway. They started on time and completed the removal on the first day. The second day the inspector visited the site and gave them approval to place concrete. Early on the third day the full crew arrived and placed the reinforcing steel followed by the concrete. The crew was adequately sized for the job and they did an excellent job of placing and finishing the concrete. Today they removed the forms and cleaned the site. It was a pleasure to have Wallace Construction complete the work. Wallace Construction had excellent communication and superior coordination with the crew, myself, the permitting agency, and the concrete supplier. It would be a pleasure to hire Wallace Construction again.
